Glossary

A comprehensive dictionary of all key terms, metrics, and concepts used within ScopeArchitect and in project scoping best practices.

Acceptance Criteria

A checklist of specific, testable conditions a feature must meet to be considered 'done.' They define the boundaries of a user story and remove ambiguity.

Access Control

The process of managing permissions for who can view or modify project data. In ScopeArchitect, this is handled by inviting users and assigning roles like Admin, Editor, or Viewer.

Action Taken

In the context of feedback, this documents the result of considering a piece of feedback—whether it was accepted, modified, or dismissed, and why. This closes the feedback loop.

Affected Stakeholders

The specific individuals or groups who are impacted by a decision, particularly a tradeoff. Listing them ensures the right people are consulted and informed.

AI Summary

A feature of the AI assistant that condenses long feedback threads or meeting notes into a short, easy-to-digest summary, saving time and highlighting key points.

Associated Requirement

The specific module, feature, or requirement ID that a piece of feedback is related to. This keeps feedback organized and contextual.

Assumption Description

A clear statement of something believed to be true for the project to succeed but has not been verified. If it proves false, it becomes a risk.
